Princess Beatrice wedding: Bea and Edo's celebrations banished from Queen's palace
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will marry on May 29 at the Chapel Royal, St James's Palace. The couple, who announced their engagement in late September last year, will then move to Buckingham Palace to toast to their love with friends and members of their families.
As announced in a statement earlier this month, the celebrations won't be held within the walls of the palace but in its lavish garden.
Now, the Mail on Sunday has claimed Beatrice and Edoardo, also known as Edo by friends and family, will only be allowed to celebrate their nuptials in a "posh tent" placed in Buckingham Palace's gardens.
The Sunday paper wrote yesterday the guests of Beatrice and Edo, won't "be allowed" to enter the palace itself.
The newspaper also claimed the couple won't be allowed to take the traditional official pictures within Buckingham Palace.
It read: "But guests will not be allowed to enter the Palace itself.
"And the couple cannot even have official photos taken inside."
Buckingham Palace told Express.co.uk it won't comment on details regarding the nuptials, adding further information regarding the wedding will be released in due course.READ MORE: Princess Beatrice to follow 100-year-old royal wedding tradition
Princess Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie, married in October 2018 at St George's Chapel in Windsor and held her reception at Windsor Castle.
The four official pictures of her wedding day shared by the Royal Family were taken in the White Drawing Room of the Queen's castle.
Among the guests expected to attend Bea and Edo's wedding there are members of the Royal Family and socialite friends close to the Yorks.
However, Princess Beatrice can count among her friends also a number of A-listers, widely expected to attend the nuptials.
Among the celebrities close to Bea and Edo there are Robbie William's wife Ayda Field, singer Ellie Goulding and models Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.
Details regarding Beatrice and Edo's nuptials came after months of silence.
After the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson revealed she was indeed tying the knot with Edo after dating him for some 12 months, royal fans were left without any further news regarding date and location of the nuptials until early February.
Earlier this month, Buckingham Palace shared a statement saying: "The wedding of HRH Princess Beatrice of York and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will take place on Friday 29 May 2020.
"The couple became engaged in Italy in September 2019.
"Her Majesty The Queen has kindly given permission for the ceremony to take place at The Chapel Royal, St James's Palace.
"The ceremony will be followed by a private reception, given by The Queen, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace."
Beatrice and Edo will marry at the same chapel used by many royals to celebrate their love - including Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, who tied the knot on February 10 1840.
Speaking about the Chapel Royal, Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "The location for many Royal weddings and christenings the Chapel Royal, situated within the grounds of St James's Palace, is a busy working chapel.
"The Chapel holds regular services which are open to the general public, as well as
hosting some unique Royal services.
"Many Royal weddings have taken place in the Chapel, including that of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg on 10 February 1840.
"In 1893 the then Duke of York and Princess Victoria Mary of Teck (later King George V and Queen Mary) were married in the Chapel."
